So the fixit dudes finally showed today, even if 8am turned into some time five plus hours later. They did a decent job of ceiling repair, but we had to wash every single damn thin in the kitchen, thanks to the mess of broken sheet-rock and a mysterious fine powdery substance that formed some suspicious layer of insulation. hehe.. but I think its the close competition that makes it so good
Me, I'm not a really a big sports fan, but I remember in 1987... I think that's what the year was... you know with the Amazing Mets. Now that game was like so freaking awesome man cuz of that tight close competition. And that's what made that game so good and so intense to watch-- completely glued to the screen on the edge of your seat, biting your nails kinda feeling :)

No, that was '86, and against my Red Sox, and that was easily the Worst Day of My Life. When the Sox collapsed from one strike away from winning the series, I let loose with every swear I knew in every possible combination and permutation.

I was babysitting my little brother, who picked up some choice new vocabulary.

To his credit, my Dad didn't holler out me after bro tried out his new set of bon mots at the breakfast table the next morning.
