I mean, I wrote the outline and thesis today, so the rest is sure to follow...right?
Another year come-n-gone. 22 and I feel...so...old. where's my prune juice?. Anyways, my most-beloved got me
: Midnight Vultures (Beck), Vulgar Display of Power (Pantera), Stadium Arcadium (Red Hot Chili Peppers), 10,000 Days (Tool), Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (Arctic Monkeys), and Entroducing (DJ Shadow), and all of these rock. Dad gave me money,
which I used to buy vols. 4 to 6 of Death Note, some prooty nice, comfy headphones (20ft. cord lets you watch TV from across the room; somewhat novel, no?), some brown socks, and since Target was still selling it, a pack o' Coke Blak. Mom, for some odd reason, got me
organic yogurt-covered raisins, yogurt-covered pretzels, two bottles of organic tea w/ just a pinch of sugar, regular-type raisins, safflower seeds, organic granola w/ ginger + cashews, honey, all-natural gum, and some beeswax lib-balm, which is all really cool and I really appreciate it and all, but it's still kinda weird, you know? And also, my Hoppe-Family got me a
a B&N gifte card; I've already called them up and asked them to order and hold me copies of Eyeshield 21 vols. 6 to 8. All-in-all, an awesome birthday.
Also, Katie and I are back into the scrapbooking swing o' things...We've filled at least three scrapbooks since the beginning of high school with many pages that still need a book of their own. We recently printed off the Spain pics (300+), so...They get their own scrapbook. I've been lazy, though; still haven't put the pics from the last AWA onto pages yet...
Addendum:
Holy crap! Apparently two Death Note live-action movies are already in the work! Seems like it was just realesed here yesterday. Word has it that Red Hot Chili Pepper song "Dani California" is supposed to be the theme song for one of them...
~So, have fun, y'all~
YTMND of the day
Ultimate Bedside Surprise Can't you hear those cavalry drums
Hijacking your equilibrium
Midnight hags in the mausoleum
Where the pixilated doctors moan
Carnivores in the Kowloon night
Breathing freon by the candlelight
Coquettes bitch slap you so polite
Till you thank them
For the tea and sympathy
I want to defy
The logic of all sex laws
Let the handcuffs slip off your wrists
I'll let you be my chaperone
At the halfway home
I'm a full grown man
But I'm not afraid to cry
Neptune's lips taste like fermented wine
Perfumed blokes on the Ginza line
Running buck wild like a concubine
Who's mother never held her hand
Brief encounters in Mercedes Benz
Wearing hepatitis contact lens
Bed and breakfast getaway weekends
With Sports Illustrated moms
