I really don't see why it's disturbing. Yeah, it's gooey and messy and gross but that's what we're made of. We, as living organisms, are gooey and messy and gross. All these people in the media who kicked up a massive fuss when it aired over here kind of bemuse me. Cos you know the only reason they don't like it is because people don't like to be reminded that we are just icky machines that can go wrong in a hell of a lot of ways.

also, there is a follow-up series by the same guy about post mortems, where they perform an autopsy on live TV and find out how the patient died.
