FRIENDS?

so there are some people that i feel like i'm close to and there are others that i feel like i want to know better. Sometimes i feel like i don't have those close friends like i see people have. like i see on this lj and it kinda makes me sad. Sometime i feel like people don't feel like i'm a good friend. maybe i'm just feeling this way because

hey you.. You're a super kid yourself. Remember that you've spent 20 years accumulating the close friends you have today and a lot of time in developing those relationships as well. It's great when you can go to school and work with or near these people you love and feel close with, but it's unrealistic to expect that in every situation. I feel ya, but try to keep an open mind ass this as an opportunity to meet new people and further develop your relationships with people you're not all that close with now. If nothing else, all this time away from your circle of friends and comfort will come to help you better define what it means to you to be a good friend and what you look for in people. It sounds like you had a pretty up and down day anyway... beware the way the mind works when it's down... Hang in there, starface.
