I think he'd be a really nice child but he would make me sad - he has no friends, everyone forgets about him.. My choice would probably be Japan XD

But isn't Japan a bit more vicious than Canada? Even if they're both passive aggressive?
I'm also a loner so I'm not sure if I would worry about Canada that much. You enjoy raising Japan through his hikikomori teenage years, you. Atleast he will turn out ok in the end!

Lol what, you're going to be a football fan now? :DD The next big thing is Euro 2012 - European Championship. Until then, when the season starts, there will be the Champions League and Europa League, but those are for different clubs, not for national teams.

No... I just want more sports events to Hetalia fangirl over! :D Although football is ok as long as you don't have to watch the games... the cheering part and complaining about the referees!

Well, there is not much of a Hetalia twist to it, if all teams are Swedish... In Champions League and Europa League the teams are from all over Europe, at least.

I didn't realize how fun it was to mix Hetalia with sports and other events then. I looked at some Olympics!Canada fanart, but that's pretty much it. D:

Oooo, Finnkampen. A Sweden vs Finland athletics?/sports event held every year. They could be fighting for seme status!
But I guess those Leagues will have to do for now. Perhaps.
