I loved HBP! =D

The highlight of the film was definitely Draco. It was good (don't think this is the appropriate word, but never mind) to see him tormented and scared rather than the one dimsensional character he has been in previous films. Snape was also fantastic.

Harry needs to drink Felix Felicis more often, it makes him fun =D

I was annoyed at the amount of memories they cut out but was expecting it as I'd heard rumours months ago. The way they've done things means that poor Harry doesn't have much to go on in his hunt for horcruxes (i.e. no speculation that Voldemort tried to collect artifacts from the founders, no introduction to Hufflepuff's cup, etc.) Apart from that, the only other thing that really annoyed me was the attack on The Burrow. It would have been better if they'd left it out and concentrated on the battle in Hogwarts, which wasn't really a battle at all.

Going to see it again tomorrow with another friend.

I've started researching my independent study properly. For anyone interested in the fight for women's suffrage in the UK, I'd definitely recommend Votes for Women: The Virago Book of Suffragettes, a collection of primary source material. Before reading it I didn't realise just how horrifying force feeding was.

I'm already stressing out about the very slim chance of getting a first, but at least now I'm using my time constructively I don't feel so useless.

In a week or so I'm visiting Coventry for a few days. John isn't too pleased because he hates being left alone with our housemate. Dentist appointment not long after I get back (*CRY*) and about a week after that John disappears to Bloodstock. Cue LOTR marathon with Laura =D
