*snugpat*

I always feel so guilty saying "maybe it'd be better if he/she died", even about a pet or something, but I really do know what you mean.

How is your grandma coping with the idea?

She died this morning and grandma's looking at it as a blessing. Although emotionally she's coping well, I'm worried about her. It's fallen to her to talk to the doctor and arrange the certificate, sort out the financial side of things (pension, bank accounts, etc.) and organise the funeral. Considering that she's not very well, she's going to end up running herself into the ground. It's not like there's no one else who can do it; she has five brothers and sisters. The same thing happened when great grandma first got ill. Grandma had to care for her practically on her own for two years.

Sorry, I didn't intend for the reply to be this long and ranty =\

I'm so sorry, I honestly thought I'd already replied to this.

Don't worry at all about the rant *snugsnug* I'd feel the same in your shoes, that's really shitty for your Grandma :( I hope your relatives start behaving properly soon.

It's okay, I'm always doing that =)

Me too. My dad would definitely step in and help with something if he knew, but I'm not sure that he does. He's on holiday and I don't think grandma would want to disturb him as he's been having a nightmare at work lately.

Dementia is such a cruel disease. I hope for the best for her
