A largely pointless entry
I'm bored and nothing interesting has happened to me, so this entry consists largely of something I stole from singingrain5
1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search or other search functions
1. It's not easy having a good time! Even smiling makes my face ache!
2. I'm not going into the toilet, I'm going into showbusiness!
3. It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
4. Have you seen blood in the moonlight? It appears quite black.
5. It may sound like I'm complaining, but I'm not. After all, with Your help, I'm starving to death.
6. That still only counts as one!
7. I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up doesrejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend.
8. It seems strange that my life should end in such a terrible place, but for three years I had roses and apologized to no one. I shall die here. Every inch of me shall perish. Every inch, but one. An inch. It is small and it is fragile and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must never let them take it from us.
9. But of course! Nothing says "romance" like the gift of a kidnapped injured woman!
10. What do you want me to do, dress in drag and do the hula?
11. I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren't pretty, or smart, or young. They're still princesses. All of us. Didn't your father ever tell you that? Didn't he?
12. I am Katherine, Queen of England, the King's one true wife and mother of the heir to the throne. Beloved of the people, and beloved of a King you have bewitched.
13. Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
14. All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
15. Would they have you back, you think? The FBI? Those people you despise almost as much as they despise you. Would they give you a medal, Clarice, do you think? Would you have it professionally framed and hang it on your wall to look at and remind you of your courage and incorruptibility? All you would need for that, Clarice, is a mirror.
The only other thing I have to say is that I've almost finished the first chapter of what will be a novel. Is there anyone mad/bored enough to proof read?
