What have we to say

I saw a star fall tonight.
He looked at me,
we blinked and went on.

I felt a heart die tonight.
It was messy
So I checked the time and went on.

I heard a sob tonight.
A small little thing
I pretended it was not there and went on.

I tasted a lie tonight.
It was bitter-sweet
I just nodded and went on.

I touched pain tonight.
Looked each other over
Snarled a bit and went on.

Life went on and we missed it.
What have we to say when the missing was our fault?

I liked it and bugger if you didn't. It's my poem and me blog space. :p
