For the Empress dress swap at DoA I received this dress:
My swap partner even made shoes!
I had requested a Slavic inspired dress with lots of gold and it suits Silvana as a bit over the top is just right for her. XD I'm very pleased with the dress.
I liked being part of this swap. I had lots of fun, but now I can finally show the dress I made:
It took me days. It has bloomers, a 4 layers of tule underskirt, a chiffon skirt, a taft silk skirt, chiffon arm covers, a bodice/corset-thingy and a hat decorated with feathers.
The person who received this dress was very happy with it. I'm glad to hear, because it was hard letting this one go even if black is not Silvana's colour.
