Wow, you're still reading Bulfinch's Mythology? That book must be longer than I thought. Are you reading all three volumes, or just the Greek/Roman mythology volume?

Apparently I'm not happy unless I'm reading at least three or four books at a time. The Mermaid Chair (which I'm mostly reading because my wife likes the author, and I wanted to see if it's any good) is much slimmer than Bulfinch, and I haven't finished that either.

Bulfinch is quite a large book, but very readable. It's all three volumes in one book. What's taking me so long is mostly that I don't get around to picking it up very often.
