So we celebrate Thanksgiving again, and I wonder what it is I'm most thankful for. I'm thankful for the friends that choose to surround me, and the girlfriend who will soon be joining them. Hmmmm...I am of course thankful for you, sweet boy. I am in principal and theory thankful for my kiddos although at the very moment I'm having a very hard time *feeling* it...
I am thankful for a patience and perseverance I wasn't aware I had. I am thankful for the varied experiences that have shaped me, those that were wonderful and even those that weren't. I am thankful really good music, that enhances good times, and provides and outlet and escape other times. I am thankful for my job and the experience it's given me and to be able to finally say that I'm kinda sad to leave one. I am even thankful for family, that while they may drive me completely up a wall often enough they are still ultimately love and support me in whatever ways they can. I am also thankful for my sister and the adorable earrings she gave me last night. I could go on but I think for now that is it.
