The beach, the day before last, was lovely. We (Emily and I) discovered ten different horseshoe crabs, two pairs of which were mating. I picked up and examined all the single arthropods, but let the lovers be. After all, I myself detest interruptions during sex, more than almost anything. They were exciting creatures, older in form than dinosaurs

I went to the beach, and burned in all the weird spots I forgot to sunscreen. I looked like a 5 year old's finger painting for a day. Makes me wish I could just jump into a kiddee pool of sunscreen.

I feel your sunburn-ness. I myself recently had a run in with UV rays. The bout left me with a strange burn that looks like a birthmark. Lucky its comparatively small and not a full body ordeal. I slathered enough sunscrean everywhere else. Just missed the one area.
