Hello, students. Welcome to Magical Theory. This class will help you understand some of the basic underlying forces in magic.

1) I expect good, hard work from all of you, I don't care what your mummy or daddy would think, I don't care if you're pureblood or not, and I especially don't care if you think that your house is better than their house or whatever.

Because it doesn't matter.

2) I expect assignments to be turned in on time. If I say it's due by the end of class, you damn well better have at least something done. If you don't try, you don't learn, and if you don't want to learn, then you can get out of my class right now.

3) I expect that you will respect the other students in this class. No exceptions, whatsoever.

4) I reserve the right to add to any of these rules and expectations at any time, without consulting you or anyone else.

If your name is not on this list, please tell me why I did not get a note from you telling me that you wished to be in this class.
