I carry a Moleskin Pocket Plain Book. Its pages are unlined. It has a built-in place marker, an elastic band to keep it closed, and an inner pocket. The inner pocket comes quite handy

I'm with you. I manage my life best with pen and paper. I love calendars. I love clipboards. But when it comes to journaling, pda access to my blog is most convenient. And blogging doubles as keeping in touch with friends. With The Chicken I wouldn't otherwise be able to do either very well.
