I went to see Dawn of the Dead last night. That movie scared the crap out of me. I usually don't like horror movies, but I enjoyed this one. For some reason I always like zombie movies.

And it was great seeing Sarah Polley on the big screen. I think she's deserving of a celebrity crush.

Hmm. I was thinking that maybe DoD was a wait for the DVD sort of film. Should I spend matinee money?

For some reason my reply went in as a new post...so here it is again...

I went on the 2-for-1 night, so I'd say it was worth the money. But I wouldn't see it for full admission price. Also, when your choices are Dawn of the Dead, Hidalgo, Starsky & Hutch ? and Hidalgo is already sold out ? then it's worth the money.
Matinee? Maybe. It's certainly scarier on the big screen, with the big sound system. I wouldn't make it a priority to see, but if you're looking for something to pass an afternoon, then it might be worth it.
