Hello, sorry to bother you in your journal, I have a livejournal account too and was looking for people who live in Yellowknife. You see my best friend plans to move there this coming fall from Toronto and I'd like information on living there. Would you know of anything? Anything would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry this seems so random! ^-^

I thank you very much for the information, I passed it along to my friend who plans to move there. I don't know if she has contacted you? I just hope she makes the right decision and the more information she has the better. Thanks again. I apologize for the delay in my response.
..This is weird, looking at the comment right above me...
But yeah. You don't know me(I'm not sure of that exactly, as I did't see a picture of you) but I used to live in Yellowknife(for 13 years.) and I moved away in February. As I'm horribly, HORRIBLY homesick, I got it in my mind to do a search for Yellowknife LJ's. And, of course, I found you. But yeah. Hello, I'm Jaimee. Nice to meet you. You prolly have heard about me... well, my mom or her husband anyways. We're the ones that live on an island in Walsh Lake.)
Ah, yes...I have heard of the people living on the island in Walsh Lake. It's beautiful out there. This weekend I'm heading out to Prosperous Lake to go camping.
Yellowknife is an easy place to miss in the summer. Although the last couple of days have been a little windy and rainy. But still, I love the summers here.
where have all your posts gone? I've recently started this livejournal thingy and have added you to my "friends list" - I hope this is okay. Also, how goes the wedding plans and do you have a date yet?

My absence of posts will be changed shortly...sorry, I've just been insanely busy.
The wedding plans are crawling along. We're thinking around March 6th. We're trying to find out when this new resort is opening in Mexico, because that's where we want to go on our honeymoon. Once we find that out, then we can book the reception venue. Getting the chapel is easy because...well...it's the Snow King. He's not too formal. I think we could just call him the night before, or even just show up at the castle and do the wedding, and he wouldn't mind.
