Guess who?
Beckett
Castle.
Castle
Damnit, how’d you know?
Beckett
Whatever awesome stalking skills you think you have, my police authority gives me access to better ones.
Castle
Sexy.
Beckett
Unintentional.
Castle
So when do I get to take you out for a beer and find out what makes Kate Beckett tick?
Beckett
When hell freezes over.
Castle
Unoriginal! Next time maybe try something more along the lines of ‘When Ryan and Esposito get married’ or you could just go with ‘Tonight.’
Beckett
The first of those is more likely.
Castle
I don’t know whether to be curious about their relationship or offended you don’t want to drink with me.
Beckett
I’m going to sleep now. Goodnight, Castle.
Castle
That means you’re in pyjamas! What sort? Nightie? I like to imagine you as a kick ass cop who secretly likes to dress up at night to go to bed.
Castle
Too far?
Beckett
Sweet dreams ;-)

Hey Katie,
I got this cartoon from a friend this morning. It made me think of you.

Castle,
This is a work email.
And I am not a coffee addict with a sleeping problem.
Well not all the time. I’m just a cop.
PS. Don’t call me Katie, I have a gun.

I thought work emails were for sending random cartoons to co-workers.
So when do I get a work email?
What do you prefer then? Kate, Kat, Becky?

You don’t get a work email, you have to be an employee of NYPD to get an NYPD email.
And Detective Beckett will do.
If you have nothing better to do I have a pile of paperwork you can finish for me.

Aren’t you doing enough research during the day?
I have work to do, Castle.
And since I’ll be here all night, you can bring me coffee in the morning.
xoxo

Richard Castle’s Blog
Hi guys,
I know I’ve been quiet since the death of Derek Storm, but I’ve found her, my new character. I can’t tell you too much about her yet, but I can tell you she’s female and she’s New York’s number one homicide detective.
And she’s very, very hot.
I’ve just started my research now, but never fear, before long my new character will be here and you’ll all forget about Derek Storm.
I’m very excited about this new project and I hope you guys will be too.
Hopefully I’ll have some more information for you in my next blog!
Watch this space.

Beckett
You know it.
Castle
I hate to ask, but what do I know?
Beckett
Well I do consider myself to be New York’s number one homicide detective
Castle
Kate Beckett, who knew you were enough of a fan to read my blog.
Beckett
Know your enemies, Castle.
Castle
Ouch. I’m hurt.
