Is #2 related to the book Mistral's Daughter?

I can't recommend #1 (and Pink Think, by the same author) enough. It's fantastic.
#2 is part of the Meredith Gentry series and not related to that book, afaik. It's certainly not deep reading, but that author is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I loved Hiroshima. I read it while I was a substitute teacher. How was book #1?

I can't recommend it, or Pink Think by the same author, enough. Very good books.

These are all books I read. I used to keep a list of books I was reading or wanted to read, but it rarely worked out that I finished or even read what I intended to. :)

Same problem here. I've had some boos on my list for years that keep getting put on the list, but never get read. (Such as Orwell's 1984.)
