How have I lived my whole life without reading such a masterpiece?

Conscience of a Liberal is a tad TL;DR but I think you would like it. It gives a lot of history and context I didn't know before or knew of only in passing.

I'll have to look into it.

Again, your lightning fast reading ability makes me sick. We're halfway through January and you've already downed five books.

I know we've established that I have children to run around after, but it doesn't make me any less jealous.

Ooh, I have 'LIttle Girls in Pretty Boxes'. I want to read that.

I'm also horribly disappointed in the rapid downturn of the Anita Blake series. I had to quit reading around Danse Macabre.

All of her books are like train wrecks as me. Tragedies, but I can't turn away. And they are some of the quickest reads out there.

It just got too crazy...I've found all of them in ebook form, and I'll probably read them that way. For free, it may be worth it, but I'm not going to pay for any more.

I get almost all of the books I read from the library. I think I've only bought 3 books this year (outside of textbooks) and none of those cost over $10.
