...today at camp I caught four slugs, two salamanders, and seven camel crickets! Also, my group is now the owner of the head of a GBH...strangeness abounds at Stone Lab: Field Zoology

I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but a not quite all together Great Blue was found dead along the side of the road . Best guess is that some intoxicated drivers (either golf cart or car) were playing target practice...alas it was a beautiful bird.

Interestingly, I've been in food animal for 3 whole days and have yet to rectally palpate anything. Tis wonderful. Too bad my goat's gonna die though.
