Why Organic Sux...

The last 50 years, however, have seen enormous increases in the use of synthetic fertilizers using ammonia from the Haber-Bosch process. I would argue that the world would be a better place if that 40% was not here.

maybe I'm missing something.... why would a synthetic fertilizer be used in organic gardening in the first place? or is that covered in the non-linked to pdf? ;)

I guess the point is if everything has to be grown Organic then we would loose 40% of the worlds Pop.
