It's strange to think about how everyone in small(smallish..) towns mocks the fact that our local news is super lame, yet why would you want the news occurring locally to you to be about crazy crimes and bad things happening. I would say that "Purse stolen and then found at the mall" is a pretty lame news story yeah, but I would rather read
