That's what I figured. I'd used dict.cc, but I had a feeling literal translations are something most people wouldn't use. Thank you.

I had one more, sorry. Is there an equivalent to, 'you look like crap' for telling someone they don't look well in a semi-crude sort of way?

I think I'd use "Du siehst ja bescheiden aus" if it s only supposed to semi-crude if the emphasis is more on the crude it actually is "Du siehts ja beschissen aus" .
"Bescheiden" is what yo use if want to say s**t but are to polite do so , but is an actual word and not some made up pseudo curse word. ;)
