Well, since we're on disability now, there's really no point forming a union. We really don't do anything for anyone that they couldn't do for themselves, except be a mother to grown up children - and there's no way we would go on strike in that area.
Around friendships and extended family, I think we've pulled the "do it my way or I'll pick up my marbles and go home" card, a few times too many.
And then there are picket lines, but we can't think of any personal equivalent to those. If an individual in society were to pull that on another individual, somebody would probably go to jail.
