today was actually a good day. got out of work outs early, then sociology we watched the breakfast club, then my spanish class learned i don't take medicine, at lunch i actually had a seat, band we practically have all of Patrick's piece, and i (hopefully) didn't fail either of my Math quizzes today! yay ( Read more... )

They don't "forget" to drill them. There are different models for different preferences. For instance, my bassoon (the same plastic one I've had since 6th grade) is technically an "advanced beginner's" model. This means it has a few alternate keys more than the standard basic beginner instrument has. There are roughly a bajillion different models of bassoon, with a varying number of keys for various preferences.

but that's not it because my teacher said that's what it is. not the make of the instrument. and anyway, why would there be the high D/C key and then not have a working high A/Bb key? that wold be just lame as can be...
