I do a lot of range of motion stuff with him before and after running around. Also he gets meds if he's super sore. Mostly I just realize it's not going away and try to make sure he doesn't do crazy stuff. But on the hike a few weeks ago he came home pretty fine... No limp! Bit sore tho, and some licking.
She has an appointment with local vet on Thursday. I'm going to push for xrays and I'll ask for range of motion exercises. Also meds. Metacam? Or what?
Ugh, that's super disappointing! I certainly hope you two get to play again. I've had good luck with Bianca Shaw for rehab stuff if you think it's an ongoing issue.
Enid has a bad front foot. I retired her from her version of agility when she was 7 and hiding in the last obstacle on a course (a tunnel). Her left front foot twists in a bit and she supernates out over it. If she goes on long walks or hikes, she gets sore and limps. Then I use Metacam for a l;ittle bit and keep her on green lipped mussel powder daily. She romps around with the mob for the rest of the time without issue.

I was thinking metacam for sure. She's on glucosamine already.
