Tecfidera 1st day

I got my starter pack of Tecfidera(BG-12) yesterday. I have read up on it including some forums and blogs I came across. I am doing what most people seem to recommend. I ate this morning, took some aspirin and some benedryl. I also have a nice cold bottle of water waiting on me. I really hope this works for me because I am beyond sick of injections

This is new to me (I'm on Copaxone) so I'm watching your thread with interest. I hope Tecfidera goes smoothly for you and does what it's supposed to do.

Definitely keep us updated on the Tecfidera!

I haven't been on any of the injenction drugs after Avonex side effects never went away for me after a year and then later trying Rebif - only to develop heart palpitations from it. The other option was Copaxone but I just honestly could not handle the idea of a daily injection.

I hope it works well for you - I'm scheduling an appointment with a new nuero soon!
