Palin + McCain= McPain. Yes, it truly is painful for me to watch this crap that is full of misleading lies. She may be a good actress, but let's see what happens to this ex beauty queen during the debates with Biden. Can't wait.

I am SO with you. I just watched her speech, and all I can say is RHETORIC. She accused her "opponent" of his "cloud of rhetoric" which made me laugh because almost every word out of her mouth had nothing to back it up. And why does she not utter the name "Obama" -- just "our opponent" over and over. It amazed me that every thing she said, no matter how empty, was greeted with cheers from the audience. Are they even listening?

I will say that she is a decent public speaker, but I never felt that anything was from her heart.

And her husband is a redneck.

Okay, I'm done. :-)

Her speech was empty. It was what she did NOT say that bothered me. Not one word about health care. Not one word about education. Nothing about how to address the economy, which her administration has devastated in the last eight years.

And she was pretty brave to take on Obama's resume and mention Community Organizer in the condescending, snide way she did numerous times. Too bad he's too big of a person to compare his Columbia and Harvard law degree with her University of Idaho degree in communications.

Her delivery was fine. BUT when she gets all riled up and high pitchy, her voice absolutely drives me up a wall. It is screechy and quite unfortunate. Like fingernails on a chalk board. UGH!

Her speech was empty. As vaccuous as her background. Just full of attacks of Obama, without even giving him the respect of using his name. My opinion of her changed not one bit, unless maybe for the worse.
