We had the great idea of keeping the kids up to go see the big fireworks downtown tonight... which start at 10pm- 2 hrs after their normal bedtime. When I dropped O off at his sitter this afternoon he was greeted by his little friend- a cute little girl who is 3 1/4 (he is nearly 3) .  She is such a little "mom" that she always wants to help by putting away stuff etc.  She immediately hugged him and then proceeded to take off his shoes and his jacket.  During this process he just had a cute ( Read more... )

While in Petsmart today looking at the frogs.....L pointed out to me that the frogs were "playing leapfrog" but it was a little bit more involved than that kwim. LOL!!! He also recognized the humor in the term leapfrog. I was cracking up.

O finally declared his love vocally today (nearly said "orally" fraudian slip). Very appropriate that this happened on valentimes day. I am so thrilled that his speech is coming along.
