Today reminds me of one of those sunny early release Thursdays where we'd get out of school and Sarah would drive me to her house. We'd get there and realize we'd much rather be somewhere else. My side of the dorm looks like the New York Times press room got in a fight with a laundromat.

Why is it so easy to sleep in class but so hard to sleep in bed?

Smoke on water,
A fire in the sky.

I think heaven is a hot shower and an always-full box of Cinnamon Life and Cheez-Its.

And maybe some wine. And a girl.

But definitely the Cinnamon Life and Cheez-Its.

I like leaving my door open so cool people can come in and say hi.

I don't like when weird people come in and say hi. That's not cool.

College doesn't always lend itself to productivity.

Tonight, though, it definitely did.
