I'm glad the storm let up just enough for the hiking, that was bloody awesome.
Though I think I missed seeing Ice Cave... and I want to check out the northerly caves next time too. Rock!

Overall, it was fortunate we got the later start, and I'm thanking God for that one - had we left the tad bit earlier we would have been in dabuque instead of hiking. That would have been terrible.
We still need to trek the upper sections of the Ice Cave direction. The High Road, you could say. And there's the wilderness trail I would like to explore, and then, eventually I would like to hit the visitors center and get the scoop on canoeing.
