This afternoon I did Week 5, Day 1 of the Couch to 5k running program. I think it was about the 3rd time that I got to do it by myself, not pushing Evie in the jogging stroller. Oh, definitely go and buy decent running shoes!

I hit up Amart and buy last year's style/colours to save some money. A decent pair of running shoes keeps me going well over a year, and I run five or six times a week. I rarey spend over $80, $60 is more like it because I don't care what colour they are - they're all brown after a month or two. I make up for it by buying my sports bras from Big W. I get super terrific ones for under $15 (although I'm a 12B so I'm very standardly sized).

I ended up going to the Athlete's Foot because they do that "FitPrint" thing which showed I roll my feet in when I walk/run. I figure next time I need them I'll have a better idea of what type of shoes I need and can look out for sales at any decent sports store. $190 later, eeeeeeep. I'm also a nice normal bra size so I can be cheap there too, hehe. And I can justify it by saying at least I haven't joined a gym!
