I disagree with Todd, i think Fire is a more peaceful way to go. If it happens in the am and you're asleep, then the smoke inhilation knocks you out first and so you're already passed out real hard asleep by the time you're burning to death. Either that or the place collapses and you get hit with something really hard, so it's sudden and quick.

Parents. But I agree with Todd that the point of this question seems to suggest it'll be painful either way.
