I really liked the way you guys did the collaboration for the first one! I guess the only way (or rather, the simplest way) to record dialogue while the other reader records the narrative (and the dialogue for the other character) is for both readers to be in the same room. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the gag reel. :>:>

If I didn't love you guys so much, I would pay someone to kill you :)

Aren't you sweet <3

The story me and crinkly chose lent itself really well to two readers (...and then I realised the Sherlock POV went on for 3 consecutive scenarios. dammit!! ), being that it focused mainly on only 2 characters and had some fantastic dialogue. I'm pretty sure that the method you described: "record dialogue while the other reader records the narrative" is exactly how 7pennies goes about it? Not sure if they're in the same room or not though. (Curse you and cantarina1!) I'm sure there are plenty of creative ways to do collaborations though (too bad I am so creatively challenged).

We had a blast recording that. I reckon the raw recording of Gay Chicken has plenty of gag reel potential as well! GAG REELS FOR ALL!

Oh bb, nothing's sweet about me :D

If they aren't in the same room, then there'll be a lot of cutting and pasting! (which I am entirely too lazy to do~ Cantarina and me recorded in the same room, like, once -- not counting the times with you XD Clearly we aren't taking advantage of our geographical proximity!)

Ooh, that reminds me, I've got to get the raw file of Gay Chicken from Cantarina! (I'll bet half of the track is us going "omg, don't laugh" and "HAHAHAHA" and "SHE LAUGHED FIRST")

Definitely a lot of cutting and pasting involved - but on the other hand, your collaborator will have given you their best takes, which make things easier?? There's also doing it by skype for that "same room" feeling...

But us laughing at ourselves is what makes gag reels fun riiiiight? :D

That we did :D :D
I'm just an epic procrastinator, I swear - didn't I say that I'd post this weeks ago? Where does the time go...
