Part 2 of I missed pod-aware :(

Back to  Part 1.

Same warnings apply! Some of this stuff veers off course wildly, gets kind of weirdly heavy and personal and may actually offend you because I don't filter out my thoughts and therefore probably sound incredibly ignorant.

The rest of Lunchee's podaware ramblings!

I pretty much approach amplificathon in the same way that you describe with regards to the comments. The output is so high that there's no time to sit around waiting for comments to come in on whatever you've just posted, it's go go go. And that's such a *good* thing for me, it's such a relief. Not that I normally count comments or anything but when you get zero comments it's pretty damn noticeable most times. But not during amplificathon! Which is cool:)

Absolutely! Amplificathon was a brilliant time to start podficcing, and really helped form my mind set when it comes to podficcing now. I never noticed at all last year, and was sad when I couldn't really participate this year and get really competitive again. Plus merlin became a top three fandom :(

Even though I talked about feedback the longest out of all the podaware topics, I do actually think I'm really lucky in terms of getting feedback. I think I got a few no-comment podfics when I started out, but not any recently. Maybe I've just gotten better at picking more comment-friendly stories...

Thanks so much for listening and commenting!

I love your comment that feedback leads to happiness!!! :) It so made me smile and I thought of a rainbow of skittles.

I should comment more I know, having a ridiculous # of podfic dl'd on my ipod, I have started a notebook to track titles and comments so I can go back thru every now and then and leave feedback. If only anything else in my life was this organized. I am filled with guilt at not commenting on something that I get so much enjoyment from...podfic is like my crack.

So speaking of crack...your SPN/GLEE podfic that you did for podfic bingo was HILARIOUS!!!!! I still on occasion think about it and laugh XD

Comments are like skittles, in that having more of them tastes like the rainbow and makes you super hyped up (thus inspiring more productivity!)

That you have a notebook for commenting is amazing! No matter how much time has passed, getting comments is so nice, especially when the podfic is one that doesn't have many. It will be appreciated!! I am pre-emptively thanking you on behalf of all those readers you will surprise with your comments :)

Thanks so much for listening to my terrible singing! It was so much fun to do, and I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Fandom making their favourites into Gleeks will never be not funny :D

I listened to your recording about podfic topics as a download and enjoyed hearing your thoughts.

thanks for downloading them! It was nice to talk about all the topics surrounding podfic rather than talking about individual podfics like I usually do. I honestly didn't think I had that much to say...but the length of these podcasts prove me wrong.

I'm a podfic listener although not an avid one, well, not yet. I quite enjoyed listening to your thoughts. It's fascinating and gives off a like behind-the-scenes outlook towards podficcing. The points you've raised are well worth thinking about and some are very inspirational.

I admit being guilty of forgetting to leave feedback, especially when I really enjoyed the reading and see how much work and passion you guys put into it. But really I just need to make more of an effort (i must say my laptop agrees because this is the third time I'm writing this comment since it keeps crashing, hopefully it's as they say, third time's a charm) I found I can relate to your case and realise that if I don't do this now, I probably won't go back and do it. I just listened to it today so that is why I am here commenting, even after some time since you've posted this (I always find it a bit awkward to comment something that hasn't been posted recently, it's like I'm so late and they probably don't check this anymore idk if it's even worth ( ... )

The points you've raised are well worth thinking about and some are very inspirational!!! I am honestly honoured you feel that I've done well in that regard. Honoured and rather humbled. I'm also really happy to hear that it wasn't too boring for you, as I felt sometimes that I veered too much into reader specific territory ( ... )

It was never boring, especially since your voice express so much emotions and also it helps that your points are well structured. It's like, well, you're talking to me. Even your chuckles add to it, not being a creeper here even as creepy as it may sound. Haha and its entertaining when you act out your thoughts, like when you say you said something, you actually act it like so ( ... )

its entertaining when you act out your thoughts, like when you say you said something, you actually act it like so.This is such a bad habit of mine! I always do this, even when a demonstration really isn't necessary. I'm glad it entertained you though! Thanks so much for your kind praise ♥ It's rather nice to know my voice is expressive to you - all the better to perform stories for you, my dear ( ... )
