so I went in today to talk with an advisor about classes to take next semester. Looks like I'll be in for the long haul. I've got Bio, Eng, Nur, Soc, Phl, and Mth for next semester. 17 credits, as usual for me. I can't even apply to the nursing program at Delta (which already has a two year waitlist) until I take these and three other courses. So ( Read more... )

I am going into nursing as well. My advice is to steer clear of delta's program and go for SVSU's. People with a BSN make more money and do the same things as a LPN. Sometimes even they don't have to clean bedpans and stuff. It's much more respected and wanted from what I can tell. And also if you felt like specializing in a certain field you are going to want a BSN... That is why I'm going to SVSU's. So in short... DON'T TAKE DELTA'S NURSING PROGRAM!

weird, ours doesn't have a waiting list, each new semester everyone applies, if you don't get in, you reapply for next year... So each semester you have a shot at getting in...

wow! Fun classes! lol, not really. I'm only going to have 15 credits I think for next semester. This stuff is so confusing! I wish you luck. I would find a different college to transfer to than wait two years at Delta. Transfer where? I can't help, sorry!! I think CMU did have a Nursing Program, but they got rid of it... Anyway, good luck with your homework and stuff!!

ttyl,
