Ah, God and Homecoming. . . no stories from Tim there. . .

But God and PROM, I got a story about that one. I was dating a crazy penticostal girl at the time. The penticostical church teaches that dancing is evil. So, when I finally convinced her to go, her best friend tried to perform an exorcism on her and tried to rebuke me.

And we didn't do any dancing either. . . that sucked. . .

ya, i don't believe that God doesn't want us to dance... i mean, it's one of the ways he says we can praise him...
i just don't believe he wants us to dance in such a way that it looks like we are having sex with our clothes on...

David (the man after Gods own heart, and king of israel at a time) was recorded as "dancing and leaping before the Lord with all his might." David also wrote psalms about dancing before the Lord and rejoicing in the streets.
