Yay sarah! I agree! well said! lol. look at it this way, would you want other girls going around trying out your husband? then why try out theirs? lol. I believe michael graham told me that, and I love it! lol

yeah, precisely why i refuse to participate in the "dating game".
i mean, i think whatever guy God made for me (or me for/from him) is worth the wait, and i know God will help me find him.

Of course you don't just date a million people cuz you're lonely or stuff like that, but at the same time I think it's good to have 'several' boyfriends in life (several meaning i'd say around 10 at the very most) because you don't know what kind of guy you're looking for until you've met people that have qualities you don't want. Thats exactly why people almost never marry the first person they date. However it is good to do the looking and asking yourself sometimes, because what if 'the one' was right there, but was to shy to ask you out? You'd miss out on one of the greatest loves of your life simply because you refused to do the asking yourself, which I think is stupid. Yea I believe its the guys job to ask the girl out, but some guys are shy and then I think it's the girls job to take the first step if necessary. Don't worry, you'll find 'the one' someday, I think eventually we all will.

but by trying to do it myself, i'm not showing much trust in God either. it's like saying, okay God, i know you are supposed to be in charge, but i just don't think you can handle this...

Does God always do everything for you? No...my point was that maybe He put that person into your life, and maybe He wants you to do the rest...ya never know...

You never know, a modern teenager could know more than the Eternal Word.

Okay, that was a bit sarcastic, excuse me. :-)

If only we could go back to Isaac and Rebecca and tell them the valuable modern dating habits of the brilliant modern pop culture.

Ah, more sarcasm snuck in there...oh well...sarcasm it is.

sarah, you're awesome, and i totally agree with you. dating guys is just...overrated for me anyway. i think amy told me once, (or...told somebody...<.<) that God will hand you the perfect man who's meant to be with you. huzzah! you rock. i'd rather look forward to getting married, i think :D
