We threw Hans' birthday party at our parish hall on Saturday and I thought it went quite well.  Because of a few snafu's that happened in the morning the party started a little later but in all the party was a success.  I might even throw Han's next birthday there again because there was so much room for the kids to run around.   Luckily I made ( Read more... )

Yesterday was Hans' first birthday.  It is hard to believe that a year has passed, it seems like yesterday we took Hans' home from the hospital and now he is crawling around and is his own person.  Here are some photos over the past year of Hans'.

Hans has finally said his first word.  It was not Mama or Dada or even no, it was Kiki which means kitty.  Sigh, my son's first word was kiki.   What does that say about Bruce and I?  I think it says we have too many cats but I am not getting rid of them any time soon.   After a few scratches Hans is now hugging the kitties and "petting" them.  The ( Read more... )

Our weekend went  by way too fast for my liking.  We went to Tyler on Saturday and Hans got to spend some quality time with grandma and grandpa Lewis.  He got his Christmas presents a bit early and I don't think he could have really cared less.  Bruce's sister stopped by and dropped off his presents and he really liked the singing caterpillar she ( Read more... )
