Thank you sweetie. Yes i was really lucky i saw them calling to each other then caught them as you see here, which kind is it i don't know the different breeds but there are a few kinds arn't there? . Also If you know your birds i have a lovely pickie of a sea bird of some sort which i shall post later on i would be really interested to know what species it is if you can? Thanks honey xxxx

Those are mute swans - they can be distinguished by the orangey-yellow bills with a black protuberance at the top. More about them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mute_swan

Sure, let's see your mystery seabird - I might be able to put a name to it.

Ah yes i have heard of mute swans we had some at a park in Ilford too thankyou xxx right off to get the other pickie xxx

Thanks honey i still need to get lots of practise though, things don't seem to go quite right. I still want to get a telephoto for the other one too.
