T'other night some sh**y oik smashed in our drivers side car window bah! nothing was taken and it seems like a few other cars got hit too, but it's just sooo annoying! Then yesterday my tumble dryer decides to go k'putt! which is also very annoying! so i've had a very annoying few days. On a good note it did mean i got a whole monday with my Marcus

Have you tried your local Freecycle group? You might get lucky and find someone who's moving who ahs one to get rid of.

Aha :-) There's a place on Cornton Road in Acomb - a bit of a traipse from where you live but worth it as they do reconditioned white goods. I got my washing machine there for £100 six years ago and it still works. AA Electrical Appliances I think they're called, and if you go up Cornton Road till you come to a row of shops, it's there.
