grazie...
i think that one thing that the movie really did for me was have me rethink my anti-christianity standpoint. there are plenty of really good, wonderful, loving compassionate christians, like you. and then there are the ones who live in the US. jk.
but really... i think that this movie reminded me that Jesus was a cool cat and he had a good message. if i can separate Him and the Bible from the people who use it in unsavory ways, then maybe i can come to peace with sharing my life with the higher powers upstairs.

HAHAHA!

You know, I always wondered why Christianity had a bad rep in other parts of the globe. Because here, it's a way of life. You eat it, breathe it, drink it. It's just so embedded in you, that it doesn't seem like a big deal. And rightfully so. It shouldn't be, really.

I don't believe in everything the church teaches myself. I just think that you have to break it down to the basics. All religions teach basic goodness, and that what I try to live by. Not any of that rabid fanaticisim crap. None of that fits into my idea of basic goodness.

I so want to watch this film. Jesus became a cool cat once again for me, after watching "Jesus Christ Superstar" so many times. How can a Son of God who sings rock and roll not be cool, eh?
