I thought it would be impossible to over-schedule myself working from home at a time that live choral singing can't happen.
HA.
Guess who's managed it?
This week, I get to...

And Dan Radcliffe’s statement with the Trevor Project was pretty great.

Thank you for letting me know about Dan's statement, it's wonderful! He's always seemed to be a lovely young man, and he's also a kind and compassionate one. <3

You manage to continue to be a very busy bee!

It's amazing to me how someone so well-intended and so used to standing up for the oppressed can be so narrow-minded and cruel about transgender women. At some point, every white feminist has to come to terms with intersectionality and either figure out how to make feminism work for all women or fall short and accept with the consequences. Right now, she's failing at both things.

Waitasecond. Who do I know who's (1) a clever and versatile verse maven, (2) a known Sherlock Holmes devotée, and (3) a prior player in Holmestice? (Note to self: save brilliant theory for upcoming guessing post.)

Also, I wish I could claim to be the anonymous haiku reviewer, but I have been in recover from Sherlock S4 and haven't really done much in any Holmes-related fandoms of late. However, if you're looking for a mystery verse maven who loves Sherlock Holmes, you could do worse than to go through entries tagged Mrs. Hudson's Poetry Page at sherlock60. I myself only participated sporadically but a number of folks replied to every post!

He is a treasure, he really is.

I think I first realized he was a force to be reckoned with when I found out he does patter songs and rap as his party trick. But now? It's been such a pleasure seeing him grow into an excellent person.
