I found out that an old friend of mine from school, her mom died. I've been looking to get in touch with her for years, and now I've finally found a way (through her aunt), and it's because something so horrible happened. How messed up is that? :( Her mom was really a neat person. This whole thing makes me sad.... Poor Cathy.

..Cathy was one of those people that I never heard from again once she graduated. If you do manage to get a hold of her, and she remembers me, give her my best.

I heard from her awhile after graduation, I knew that at the time she was engaged to some guy, and that she was graduating with a music merchandising/business degree, and that she had a job with wherehouse records somewhere north. After that, I never heard from her. According to the obit, she married the guy and had a kid, I guess. (I doubt the mentioned granddaughter was Pauls kid) So, hopefully, I'll hear from her.
It just bites, because that's really messed up.
Her mom was pretty cool... we were over at each other's houses a lot when we were young, so I guess I knew them for awhile.... Her mom was an old hippy, and had some pretty funny stories.
