Well, now that I have your gracious attention (and thank you very much for it!) I have a story to tell, that began over a month ago, and just concluded today. I know I've only been in the animal rescue business for 3 months, which hardly makes me Mother Theresa, but hell, I'm really digging this whole "compassion with pay" deal.

I'm actually... really jealous of your awesome job. I think I mentioned that you're working at the SPCA that's about five blocks from where I used to live, right? I'm contemplating finding out about the shelters in Santa Barbara and seeing if any of them are hiring. >_> Compassion with pay? Sounds like a deal! :)
