For the past 2 weeks at work, I've been attending obedience classes.

And yes, the joke you're thinking about making is in fact accurate, because I'm actually the one who needs to be trained... My boss and the shelter's canine manager both said they'd like to see me learn more dog handling skills.  As much as I like dogs, I'm not really that good

I've always thought of pit bulls as being just like any other dogs (without thinking of them as the killing machines many people think they are,) but they're fast becoming one of my favorite breeds. They're just so goofy, people-oriented and utterly endearing. I've never met one I didn't like, and that's saying a lot considering how many are in the east bay area.
