sooo my hard drive crashed and i lost everything on my computer. oh you know, files, music, oh oh and ALL of my pictures from over a year ago. so that sucked fairly bad. but the silver lining is that my dad was the one who was responsible for "the crash '06" so he made good by buying me a new computer. so i'm extremely excited that i will soon ( Read more... )

hang on to your hard drive from the dead machine if you can. There may be... advanced techniques... which can recover some of your stuff.

i will. my dad said he's going to continue to try to revive the hard drive (that rhymes) but now that i have a new computer it's not at the top of his list of things to do. so maybe one day i'll get everything i lost back...
