For the first time in a long time, I didn't have to work this weekend. It was awesome! My parents and two brothers came up to visit from Friday to Saturday, and we had a 3-for-1 celebration: my parents' 31st anniversary, Christmas, and my youngest brother's 14th birthday. On Saturday, the hubs and I went to dinner and finally watched "Mean Girls

And, no. I still have the goochis. I bought the pair of Ralph Lauren's in the picture, but then returned them when I got back to DC. My buggy eyeballs were too clase to the lenses and kept fogging them up. Damn this cold weather.

Which hotel in Miami is this? Heading that way for business next month, so inquiring minds want to know!

We stayed at the Cardozo Hotel on Ocean, which is a small boutique owned by Gloria Estefan. Pretty nice, but the sinks are horribly designed. Or well-designed, if you like bathing your entire body when you're trying just to wash your face!

After Chris and Cat left, I moved to the Raleigh with my friend Claire. That's the hotel in the pics - I highly recommend!

Thanks, duccy! And Miami winters are really nice. I think the ocean water is about as warm as Cape Cod in the summer. :P
