i love your ideas. practical, functional. especially the nonpermanence (is that a word?) of the decals! you can always buy different decals if you decide you want other animals, etc. awesome. go for it! as for the white bedding issue--just stock up on lots of bleach :)

that's true. :) but would the bleach mess with the orange pinwheels? bah. i'll just get solid fitted sheets in orange...maybe even green and blue to stick in there sometimes.

Thanks! That was the problem with the other ones...we weren't thrilled with any of them. We would have been settling no matter which one we picked. This one we're really excited about so it must be the right choice. (other than the mostly white linens - haha!)

You guys are so funny & cute.

Our baby-room decorating process went like this:

At Home Depot one day, browsing through wall paper books. Found a very nice baby animal print/pattern.

Me: This is nice, I like it
Him: And we wouldn't have to paint the baby room since it'll match
Me: Okay then...

And done.

LOL.

Oh so much more simple and easy. :) Our next task is to find the chair for the nursery, then we have a whole host of other little odds and ends to do around the house. Ugh, and then there's the registry.

If you go to Babys R Us, they can give you a one-pager on what you might want to list on your registry. I've found it to be quite handy.
